THE ALEXANDER'S FAMILY ALBUM

This is a page dedicated to the family of George H. and Eula H. Alexander of Yalobusha and Panola Counties, MS. George H. Alexander was the second of eight children born to John M. Alexander (b.6/21/1841-d.8/10/1898) and Catherine Brown Alexander (b.11/25/1849-d.3/15/1892). It was thought that John M. came to Yalobusha Co., MS following the Civil War from "the Carolinas". It now appears that he may have lived in the Pontotoc, MS area from age 2 or 3 after moving there with his family from SC. Additional research is being done. Each of the descriptions that follow will take you to a respective photograph. These photographs are an assortment of pictures showing the offsprings, as well as spouses of offsprings and some of the second generation of children. As more information and pictures are gathered, this site will grow. The core family that is represented here is as follows:
