I am a descendant of Mary Hebert married to Wiliam Carpenter
July 26, 1824. I believe she had a sister Rachel who married William's
brother Issac Carpenter on the same day. Do you have any information on
these women that would help me? The marriage record that I have says that
Mary's father was Francois Hebert and her mother was Mary Morril. Is Morril
a French name too?

I am trying to learn about my great grandfather, Auguste
Hebert. My great grandmother, Mary Hewson, was his second wife as his first
had
died. He had a family from the previous marriage.
He lived in Waterloo, Qc from the at least the 1860s to the 1880s.
He was a merchant and fairly important citizen of Waterloo. He moved
to Seattle, WA with his second family, including my grandfather, Frederick
William Hebert, and the rest of the second family including Auguste, Louise,
Anna and Charles. At some point my great grandfather left my great
grandmother and moved back to Waterloo to live with a daughter from the
previous marriage. He died around March of 1918. I would like
information about Auguste Hebert such as his date and place of birth and
his exact date of death. Also, any family stories about his life
in Waterloo.

Researching the Hebert family of Cap St Ignace, Province
of Quebec, Canada. Not relate to Antoine and Etienne. Gilles
Hebert Jr, born in Bois-Rober, Dioces Ceustance, Normandy, France, died
3/5/1802. Was probably a French soldier, prior to 1759, that chose
to remain in Canada after the fall of Quebec. He married a Canadian,
Marie-Marthe Guignard 1/9/1764 in Cap St Ignace. Marie-Marthe was
the daughter of Noel Guignard and Marguerite Guimont of St Anne de Beaupre.
She was the widow of Lazare Richard whom she had married in 1752.
Lazare and his twin brother Andre were both killed in the war. Giles
died 3/5/1802. His father was Gilles Hebert and mother was Marie Fauval.
He was the progenitor of the Hebert family that migrated to Illinois in
1848 and moved on to Kansa in the 1870's.

to Charles-Emile Messier and Jacqueline, married to Raymond Gingras.
My grandfather was Jules Hebert

Looking for Louis HEBERT (b: c 1838-1850) presumably
Qc area. Was in Woonsocket, RI in 1876. Not in any census records
so far as I can tell. I have identified 5 children so far (Antoinette,
Ernest, Female child who married Mr. Duhamel), Belona/Belonia b: 3-25-1875
in Woonsocket & married to Joseph Henry Clement Apr 10, 1894 in Springfield,
Man; and Camille. Louis' spouse presumed to be CARON (sp). Any leads would
be appreciated. Suspect that he had HEBERT relatives - Antoine (1836 &
1843), Amable (1824), Abraham (1831) & Joseph (1854) who resided in
Woonsocket. Can't locate any lineages for these persons also. I have Belonia's
descendancy and related linkages to founding fathers Louis, Antoine &
Etienne HEBERT.
