| Margaret Adams is one of our Mystery Kin. Her grandparents (John and Elizabeth Cassingham) seem to have arrived in the U.S. between 1840-1843 in a second migration of Cassinghams. They settled in Coshocton County, Ohio (a county adjacent to Muskingum County where Thomas and his family settled in 1818). Though we have not yet been able to prove a relationship between the Thomas Cassinghams and the John Cassinghams, we feel certain one exists. |

Margaret Adams is the daughter of Jane Cassingham and George Washington Adams. She was born about 1862/1863 in Virginia twp., Coshocton, Ohio. She died 11 Feb 1905 at age 42 in Willow Brook, Virginia twp., Coshocton, Ohio, when an oil lamp she was moving exploded. She was buried on Valentine's Day (her oldest son, Douglas' birthday), 14 Feb 1905 at the Millfork church cemetery, Virginia twp., Coshocton, Ohio.
On 23 Dec 1875, she married Richard P. Wills in Muskingum County, Ohio. He is the son of George Wills and Anna Bell. He was born about 1854 in Pittsylvania, Pennsylvania or Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio. He died 15 Mar 1912 at age 57 in Davis Hollow, Virginia twp., Coshocton, Ohio. He was buried 17 Mar 1912 at the Millfork church cemetery, Virginia twp., Coshocton, Ohio.
