DEARTH Gloria L. Dearth, 65, of Lunbeck Rd., Chillicothe, went home to be with the Lord July 25, 2001 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 18, 1935 in Logan, W.Va. to the late Roscoe Adkins and is survived by her mother, Dorothy Ebright of Columbus. On January 14, 1956, she married Russell Dearth, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Bill E. Layton; daughters, Brenda (Dana) Pritchard and Barbara (Dewayne) Swafford, all of Chillicothe; step-sons, James (Cindy) Dearth, Columbus and Robert (Mei-lien) Dearth, Ga.; step-daughter, Patricia (Fred) Heacock, Ga.; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Derema (Art) Frick, Donna Ottoro and Barbara (Tom) Starker; brother, Allen (Pat) Adkins, all of Columbus. Gloria was a retired employee of K-mart. Funeral service will be Friday 11 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with burial in the Glen Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at Hill's Thursday from 6-8 p.m. |
