Katherine Yvonne Barron is the daughter of Yvonne Irene Salladay and Bobby Curtis Barron. She was born in 1955 in Colorado.

In 1976, she married Raleigh Aaron Morgan (Jr.) in Georgia. Rick, as he is known, is the son of Raleigh Aaron Morgan (Sr.) and Mary Etta Tilley. He was born in 1957 in Georgia.
