James Calvin Burdette (Jr.) is the son of James Calvin Burdette (Sr.) and Gertrude Campbell. He was born 9 August 1913 in Joliet, Will, Illinois. He died 15 June 1957 at age 43 in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona.

He married Susan Irene Bell. She is the daughter of Albert Edward Bell and Sophia May Booth. She was born 13 January 1916 in St Augustine, St Johns, Florida. She died 17 January 1981 at age 65 in Phoenix, Maricopa, Arizona.
