Florence Emma Baber is the daughter of Virginia Susan Miller and Charles Alexander Baber. She was born 12 December 1889 in Indian Mills, Summers, West Virginia. She died 11 February 1920 at age 30 in Charleston, Kanawha, West Virginia. She was buried 12 February 1920 at Hill Top Cemetery, Hinton, Summers, West Virginia.

On 11 February 1909, at age 19, she married Marcus Lunsford Dillon, who was age 28, at her father's home in Monroe county, West Virginia. Her brother Rev. Powhatan M. Baber performed the wedding. Marcus is the son of Henry Dillon and Sophronia Elizabeth Witt. He was born 29/30 October 1880 in Forest Hill, Summers, West Virginia. He died 31 January 1937 at age 56 in Lewisburg, Greenbrier, West Virginia. He was buried 2 February 1937 at Lewisburg, Greenbrier, West Virginia.
