George William Baber is the son of Virginia Susan Miller and Charles Alexander Baber. He was born 1 April 1905 in West Virginia. He died 1 September 1965 at age 60 in Maryland. He is buried at Mountain Christian Church Cemetery, Joppa, Harford, Maryland.

On 20 April 1933, at age 28, he married Irma Louise Creswell, who was age 28. She is the daughter of Charles Carroll Creswell and Catherine. She was born 12 September 1904. She died 13 February 1998 at age 93 in Gaithersburg, Montgomery, Maryland. She is buried at Mountain Christian Church Cemetery, Joppa, Harford, Maryland. This marriage ended in divorce in July 1956 in Mobile county, Alabama.
