Graveside services for Doris C. Booth, 87, of Akron, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mentor Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Road, Mentor, Section 19a.

Miss Booth died April 28, 2007, at Hospice Care Center in Akron.

Born July 14, 1919, in Mentor, she lived in Mentor until moving to Akron seven years ago.

Miss Booth was a retired accountant from the former Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby. She was also a secretary at Painesville United Methodist Church and Mentor United Methodist Church.

She was a former member of Mentor United Methodist Church, Cleveland State University Alumni and was a hospital volunteer. She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, gardening, travel and writing letters to friends.

Survivors include her niece, Pamela (Gerald) Kusar of Akron; and great-niece and great-nephew, Cory and Jared Kusar of Akron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Gertrude Booth; sister, Rev. Mae Booth; and brothers, J. Willis and Robert S. Booth.
