Descendants of Peter Shriner
| Beckner John F Jr, 75, of Wawaka, died Jan. 28, 2000 in Kingston of Ligonier. He was born Nov. 8, 1924 in Ligonier to John and Ruth (Ritter) Beckner. On Jan. 29, 1949 he married Gloria Leatherman in Goshen. He had been a machinist with Essex Wire for many years and retired from Monsanto Co. in Ligonier. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Doug and Mark of Ligonier; 2 daughters, Rosemary Mawhorter of Albion and Marcelyn Harman of Rome City; a brother, Rick of Ligonier; 2 sisters, Doris Gard of Ligonier and Demaris Musser of Cosperville; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers. Services Tuesday in Ulrey-Renner Funeral Home. Burial, Sparta Cemetery with military rites. |
