In the Name of God Amen. I Tomas Devricks of the County of Pendletown &State of Virginia Being Sik of Body But of Sound memory, But Calling tomind the Mortality of all Flesh and that it is appointed Unto All menOnce to die Do Publish this my last will and Testment in the ManerFolling to wit.
First and principally I Recommend my Soul to God that give it and my Bodyto the Dust to Be Buried in a Christian maner At the Discretion of myExecutors Hereafter to Be mintioned. Nothing Doubting But I shallReceive the again at the General Resurection And Day of Judgement --. My worldy Estate Which it Hath pleased God to Bless me with I willit to Be Disposed of in th Folling maner After my funeral Expense is paid.

Said Elizabeth Said to this Deponet thatMary Devericks had told her Daughter Polly Erwin that Thos. Peebles Jr.had laid in Bed with her all night and Put her in Such a Sweat that Shehad to wipe her face with a handerchief once or twice. This Deponetfurther Saith that P. Elizabeth continued to Say that Diona Botkin hadtold her, this Deft., that She, the P. Diona had Some angry Discoursewith Mary Devericks tending toward cautioning her the P. Mary, about herBehavior that P. Mary Replyed She Knowed what made her so angrery forthat She Supposed that She had heard that She the P. Mary Deverick waswith child and further Saith not.
