6 June 1841 – Aged 65 (rounded), she was living at Middlecott, Black Torrington, with her husband John, Mary Furze, a servant, and Sarah Ward, aged 6 (see 1841 census).
1 January 1850 - She made her mark on her last will. She was a widow from Blacktorrington. She appointed her children Arscott Ward, Elizabeth Bridgman Furse and Maria Penhale as her executors (see probate records).
1 June 1850 - She was aged 74 when she died in Black Torrington of dropsy (6 uears) (death certificate).
4 June 1850 - She was from Black Torrington when she was buried aged 74 at Shebbear parish church (see parish register).
8 June 1850 - Elizabeth Ward (her daughter?), of Black Torrington, who had been present at her death, advised the registrar (death certificate).
28 June 1850 - Her will was proved in the Pricipal Registry of the Lord Bishop of Exeter. She left her dwelling house in Middlecott Common to her son George. She left other bequests to her children Arscott Ward, Elizabeth Bridgman Furse and Maria Penhale (see probate records).
