Branch-Thirty-One and Branch-Thirty-Two(now called Branch-One-C) were combined at one time but this was found to be in error and only based on speculation.
DNA tests done on two different males has shown that this combination of branches 31 and 32 is wrong and they have been split again into 31 and 32.
This branch of the Krause line is from Friedland, Kr. Schlochau, WPR. This city is only 12 miles south of the area of Friedrichshof and Mauersin where the Branch-One Krause line was from when they left for North America.
Herman Krause from Branch-One moved from IL to the same area of WI where this branch was located. This may be a clue that Branch-One and Branch-Thirty-Two are part of the same Branch. Subsequent DNA analysis has shown that Branch-Thirtytwo has the first 11 DNA values the same as Branch-one. Since only one value is different then these two branches are related. More research required by doing a full 37-Marker DNA analysis(AEK)

Branch-One-A is the group that came from Friedrichshof, Schlochau, Germany to Illinois then MN. Herman Krause from Maursien, Schlochau, WPR was in IL for 3 years then went to Waupaca Co., WI.
One member of this branch(Charlie/Carl s/o John) then went to Parkbeg/Mortlach Sask. Canada.
Branch-One-B came from Kreis Rummelsburg which is located north of Kreis Schlochau. DNA tests done on a descendant of this line matches the first 20 markers exactly with DNA of a descendant of Branch-One-A. This indicates a common ancestor to these two branches.
Branch-One-C came from Kr. Schlochau and DNA results from a 12-Marker test show only one change in the second marker. This indicates that this branch is also from a common ancestor to A & B.

An email received from Daniel Frederick Krause on 17 May 2005 stated the following for the time that Branch-One-B Krause had been in Kr. Rummelsburg:
"Inge Krause Douthitt had mentioned about 300 years that she knew of for sure. She said the farm/land had been in the family that long. I believe they were in the area much longer before becoming landowners, but have nothing to prove it yet. So probably 300 years is a better number for now. One of my deceased relatives mentioned the 600 year figure, but when she died, her husband tossed all her genealogy records, pictures, history... everything. He didn't see the value in keeping it, and we didn't get to him in time.
This is why I am trying to find land records, census,tax records, whatever from that area that would show land ownership or at least they were major farmers under whatever noble was in charge."

"I have a problem with my family but Julius KRAUSE, who by the way died in Milwaukee after 1975 around the age of 85 was stated to have been born in either Waupaca or Washington Co. Wisconsin. Julius was first married to Martha STEFFINS they had thirteen children my father being one of the youngest born in Dec 1920 It seems Matha went insane and was placed in a home in either Dodgeville or Milwaukee All the children where placed in Orphanage's around 1925 So you can see the problem I am going to have with this KRAUSE family. Julius remarried and never had anything to do with his first children. Would never tell us anything about himself. My fathers name was Milton Lambert KRAUSE.
So I guess what I am saying is would you mind keeping an eye open for any information you might find on this line in the mean time I will keep your information on record. The father of August Frederick Wilhelm Krause fought in the Franco-Prussian war when Napoleon I led the French. He was either killed or taken prisoner but couldn’t be traced after the war. His wife, a strong minded and able-bodied woman, joined the Army, leaving behind her son, the said August Frederick Wilhelm Krause. She fought in several battles, was wounded but returned home to her son. Later, she remarried and her surname was Traheim.
August Frederick Wilhelm Krause was born in Landsberg, Prussia (near Halle & north of Liepzig in the eastern part of present day Germany) on Jan 18, 1807. He died on Jul 24, 1853 in Zirke, Posen Prussia. Frederick was a Master Builder. His wife, Henriette Pauline Klose was born in Birnbaum, Germany on Mar 8, 1809. She died in Zurich on Feb 18, 1851. All of their seven children were born in Zurich: Florando, Edmund, Adlaida, Amandus, Meta, Henriette & Eugene.
After the death of their parents, Edmund, Amandus, Meta & Eugene came to Canada (Huron Co, ON) in 1860 to join Florando & wife who had already immigrated. Later, Adlaida & husband brought Henriette to Ontario to complete the family union.

3) Wilhelmina Ginter from Leopold's Death Certificate.
The name of Caroline Raduns is being used until proven otherwise as it appears that the family has been searching it's roots for sometime and as information is found the official documents of marriage/death indicate what was thought to be true at that time or what the person reporting the event thought was correct. In this case, the marriage document would take precedence over the death document.
