Michael Ahern  (1867 - Nov 1937 )

Michael Ahern was born in Tournafulla in 1867.

He emigrated to Connecticut and lived in Ansonia. 

He married Elizabeth Hannabury in 1893 and they had 7 children that I know of Marie (1894), Stacia (1897), Margaret (1901), Michael Francis (1902), Elizabeth (1904), Genevieve (1906) and Walter (1908).

Genevieve married Ed Knowlton. They had two kids Edward and Peggy-Ann who lived close to their Uncle Bartholomew's family for awhile anyway. Francis, lived not too far away in Orange, Connecticut (Orange is a beautiful country town).  Francis, I have heard, may have owned a bar in Ansonia.

Margaret married Thomas Begley and they had at least one child, his name was Edward Begley. He was a professional dancer, he was married to Martha Raye for a couple of years 1954-1956.
