72. Hester COGSWELL was born in 1653 in Ipswich, New London, Massachusetts. ⁽⁸¹⁾ She died after 17 Jan 1703/4. Hester was direct ancestor of Oliver Wendell HOLMES. See HAWKES TALKS, #XI page 3.

She was married to Samuel BISHOP (son of Thomas BISHOP and Margaret UNKNOWN) on 10 Aug 1675 in Ipswich, Essex County, MA. Samuel BISHOP was born in 1644 in Ipswich, MA. He died in 1687 in Ipswich, MA. Hester COGSWELL and Samuel BISHOP had the following children:

She was married to Thomas BURNHAM (son of Thomas BURNHAM and Marie LAWRENCE) on 16 Dec 1689 in Ipswich, Essex County, MA. Thomas BURNHAM was born in 1646. He died on 21 Feb 1728/29. freeman 1671 Hester COGSWELL and Thomas BURNHAM had the following children:
