Kajadeich

There are several families from Kajedeich. I have named them:

1. Kajedeich to Illinois. They settled in Southern Illinois. They have done considerable family history work. Sam D Ahlf has sent me many letters with information about the family. Mary K Morrison also contributed and gave me a copy of a GEDCOM.

2. Kajedeich - Alameda. A large branch  of this family has settled in the East Bay area of San Francisco. They also have done considerable family history work. Much of the data came from Brad Ahlf and his father, Gene Ahlf.

3.  Kajedeich - German. Part of the above family is still in Germany and part of their data available.

4. Kajedeich - San Francisco. A branch of this family split off in about 1850. One branch is the above one (Kajedeich - Alameda) with Diederich Ahlf and Anna Dor Hadler as parents.  This branch was via Diederich's first wife Rebecka Jager.  They centered in San Francisco but a group has moved to Texas. Much of the data on this group came from Phyllis Harrington Ahlf. She also sent me a copy of the Ahlf family crest.
