Daniel Shell Brief Bio: Worthington, Minnesota
Daniel Shell, the senior member, was born in St. Lawrence Co., New York. Settled in Worthington, Minn., in 1872 and is at present engaged in the real estate, loaning and insurance business. He has been Mayor of Worthington five terms; Chairman of Board of County Commissioners of Nobles county for three terms ; Delegate to “the Republican National Convention at Minneapolis in 1892, and member of the notification committee; member of the Minnesota House of Representatives 1893 to 1897, and is the present member of the Fifteenth District in the State senate. Milton P. Mann of the above firm, was born in Fulton Co., Penn., in 1857 ,and in 1873 came west with his parents and settled on a farm in Nobles county, where he remained for two years, and then accepted a position as clerk in the Worthington Hotel where he remained for five years, and then entered the Nobles County Bank as clerk, and later became its cashier, being identified with this institution for fourteen years. Since 1895 he has been associated with Mr. Shell in the real estate business. In 1883 he was married to Miss Nellie A. Montgomery, of Port Jervis, New York, and they have four children. He is a member of the A. 0. U. W. fraternity |
