Thank you all for entertaining me. Absolutely wonderful discourse.  I am
a descendent of (Coonrod Kentner) through Maria Kentner who married
William Bingham.  I will in time attempt to gain admission to the UE as
an associate member to continue the gathering and passing on of
information and history to my children.

George Kentner lost his property, and was captured and released at Fort
Stanwix, then went to fight again in the Wyoming valley  with 2nd
Battalion of the K. R .R. There is much I would like to gather in the way of
historical military action documents and the like.

As a retired military officer, I am humbled by the actions of men on
both sides who fought honorably for what they thought correct.  Through
the gathering of material I have been able to pass on the stories of my
friends,
who though long ago gone, expect us to remember them, and we must.

Imagine what it must have been, to actually be struggling to save your
country, from either side.

In any case,  I would be honoured to visit with anyone who might be able
to expand my small but growing base of historical information.
