Kentner Shell Obituary
Obituary: From
early childhood she was a Christian having joined the Methodist church when 8
years old. She remained a most faithful member. Two weeks prior to her death she
was stricken with paralysis. Although almost helpless, her mind was strong and
she was very patient and said she was waiting to go. She leaves 10 children to
mourn their loses, 5 sons and 5 daughters. Funeral
from the house November 1, 1894, Rev. Greer, officiating. Her remains were
tenderly laid to rest by the side of her husband in the Prairie cemetery. Card

I,
Lovina Shell, of the Town of Sumpter, County of Sauk, and State of Wisconsin,
being of sound mind and memory and mindful of the uncertainties of life do make,
publish, and declare this my last will and testament in manner following: First:
- After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses, I leave to my
daughter, Elizabeth Farnum of Sumpter, Sauk County, Wisconsin the sum of $100.,
and to my daughter Laura E. Page of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin the Sum of $100. Second:
- It is my desire that all the rest of my real and personal estate be left to my
children as follows: Conrad
Shell of Alta, Iowa Third,
I do appoint my son, William Shell, as executor of this my Last Will and
Testament Proof
of Heirship, and Petition for Probate, dated November 5 |
