There are 3 families in Wisconsin, but I believe they are all closely related. Many of the older members were in New Holstein area at the same time per census records. They could also be related to the Burg Family. 7/1/2001. The 1880 Census data revealed that all 3 families are related back to Tonjes (abt. 1820).
