Funeral services for Mrs. Essie Mae Palombo, 77, of 1309 E. Kent Drive will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, in Hixson Funeral Home.
Dr. James A. Sample will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery.
Visitation in the funeral home will be from 5-10 p.m. today, Sept. 30.
Mrs. Palombo died at 9 p.m. Sunday in the Sulphur hospital.
A native of Thornwell, she had lived in Sulphur 54 years.
She was a former Sunday School teacher in First Baptist Church of Lake Charles. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Charles E. (June Marie) Hines, Mrs. Amos V. (Lottie Mae) Moak both of Sulphur, Tommie Lou Palombo of Westlake; two sisters, Mrs. Arlo Rector of Pensacola, Fla., and Mrs. James (Joicey Lee) Werner of Port Neches, Texas; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
