Obituary of Ouide Palombo

This is the obituary for my g-grandfather, Ouide Palombo.

Funeral services for Ouide Palombo, 65, of 2019 E. Napoleon St. were to be at 4:30 p.m. today (May 5) in First Baptist Church.

Dr. Hugh Van Eaton, pastor of First Baptist Church of Lake Charles, was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. Joe Bartlett, pastor. Burial was to be in the Mimosa Pines Garden of Memories under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Mr. Palombo was dead on arrival at 2:15 p.m. Monday at West Calcasieu-Cameron Hospital.

He was a native of Abbeville and had lived here 38 years. He was a retired machine shop owner.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Essie Patterson Palombo; three daughters, Mrs. Charles E. Hines, Mrs. Amos V. Moak ad Mrs. Homer Sarver, all of Sulphur; two brothers, Wilbert Palombo of Lake Charles and Wilfred B. Palombo of Sulphur.

Also, six sisters, Mrs. E. Landry of Vinton, Mrs. Lavina Romero of Lake Charles and Mrs. J.L. LeBlanc, Mrs. Lester Duhon and Mrs. Frank Brown, all of Sulphur, and eight grandchildren.
