JENNINGS -- Funeral services were to be at 10 a.m. today at Miguez funeral home for Pleasant Ruth Routon, 65, retired Jennings city employe.
He died suddenly Saturday at 6 p.m. at Jennings American Legion hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage.
John B. Morgan, pastor of the Jennings Evangelical United Brethern church, will officiate. Burial was to be in Greenwood cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, the former Hazel Patterson; one son, Fred of Jennings; two daughters, Mrs. W.O. Putnam of Jennings and Mrs. J.W. Livers of San Bernaardino, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Lottie Patterson of Sulphur, Mrs. Mary Patterson of Belle Flower, Calif., Mrs. Fannie Masterbrook of Washington D.C.; eight grandchildren.
She had lived in Jennings for 30 years.
