"John Lawrence Moore's first wife was Mary Frances Cartwright, born Feb. 1897, Prentiss Co. Ms. daughter of Thomas Lee Cartwright and Sallie Christian. Married 1914 Booneville, Prentiss Co. had 1 son, Grady Curlee "Bilbo" Moore, and died October 21, 1918. My Great-Aunt Evaline Catherine Brumley married Bilbo. After Mary Frances died, Bilbo's grandparents Jacob Berry and Anna Jumper Moore took him in and is listed with them in 1920 census. Bilbo is listed with John L. and Iva A. (Griskell) in the 1930 census.....sources say Miss Ivy was extremely mean to stepson Bilbo. John and Iva's children were: Gettes, Ruth, John William, Sanford, Edith, David, Nellie, Sue, and Azalene.
