Death Notice:
WALKUP - F.G. Walkup, 43 years old of 2003 (the address is no longer
there now) E. Newton, (two words unreadable), died Monday night in a
Tulsa hospital. The body is at the Mowbray Undertaking Co. parlors
awaiting completion of funeral plans.
He died while his son was on his honeymoon. They had to cut it short and
come home.
Obituary
WALKUP - F.G. Walkup, age 43 years of 2003 (the address is no longer
there now) E. Newton, died in a local hospital Monday night. the funeral
services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mowbray's
chapel, Rev. W. A. Steele of the Memorial Christian church officiating.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Willie W. Walkup; one son Harold; two
daughters Margaret and Adine, all of the home address; his mother, Mrs.
F.(supposed to be an S.) M. Watson of Little Rock, Arkansas; two brothers
Clyde Watson of Tulsa and Ed Watson of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters
Mrs. William Rowe(Grace Watson) and Mrs. Edna Parker both of Little Rock,
Arkansas. Interment at Memorial Park under the direction of the Mowbray
Undertaking Company.

HAROLD CLIFFORD WALKUP
Services for Harold Clifford Walkup, 1121 W. 16, are to be held Friday at
10:00 a.m. in Tulsa at Memorial Park Chapel, with interment in Memorial
Park Cemetary, Tulsa.
Walkup, 68, died Dec. 6 in Claremore Health Center following a brief
illness, (schirrosis of the liver).
Born March 20, 1910 in Wapanucka to Fred and Willie Valentine Walkup, he
had resided in Claremore for the past eight years. He was a retired
milkman from Pasadena, California.
Walkup is survived by his wife, Margaret of the home (his second wife,
first wife was Lera Martha Mullikin Walkup Kirk Harris); two sons,
Charles Edward Landrum of Claremore (stepson), and Harold Gordon Walkup
of Las Vegas, Nevada (now resides in Tulsa, Ok., his birthplace); a
daughter Peggy Walkup Stevens of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister, Margie
Davison of Maui, Hawaii; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Sallie Margarette Watson, aged 76, died at a
Little Rock hospital at 12:25 p.m. Sunday. She is
survived by two daughters, Mrs. E.M. Parker and Mrs.
W.M. Rowe, both of Little Rock; two sons, Clyde and
Ed Watson of Little Rock, and one brother, Ed Walkup
of Paris, Tex. Funeral services will be held at the
home of Mrs. Parker, 1700 North Polk street, at 3 p.m.
Monday in charge of the Rev. Frank Thompson. Burial
will be in Roselawn Memorial park in charge of P.H.
Ruebel & Co. Pallbearers will be Roy Bullard, Dale
Bentley, Carl Finish and H.G. Turner.

Death of Mrs. Walkup, (nee WATSON)
Last Wednesday the remains of Mrs. J. E. WALKUP (Joseph Edward) , were brought
here from Ashdown, Arkansas (Little River County) and were buried in the Rose
Hill Cemetery, Rev. J. W. RICHARDSON conducting the services. Mrs.
Walkup was here for several days last week, looking for a dwelling, and she
said that she was coming back to Wapancuka if she had to live in a tent. Upon
her return home (Ashdown) she was taken sick and lived but a short time.
