Youngest of Gideon’s sixteen children. Moved to Gibson, Susq, PA about 1815 where he was a minister. Moved to Cortland Co, NY about 1830 to join brothers Johnson and Joseph. [620]

His mother willed him land in Canterbury, CT, which he sold to Samuel Hough in 1824. Hough also bought the share of Abigail’s land that went to Elisha’s brother Samuel. Will was proved 14 Apr 1856. William Shearer Jr. (son-in-law) was the executor. ([email protected])
