Notes for Samuel WORDEN
Samuel was one of the first freeman at Kingston in 1696. He was living on the Pettaquamscutt Purchase south of Wordens Pond in 1700. In 1715, he recieved 100 acres from his father. He died without a will, so his son Samuel III was granted administration. There were two minor children in 1729, of which Rose was granted guardianship. All six children are listed in paperwork where they deeded each other 25 acres of land. [1073]
