Clothier in Colchester. First appears as a juror in 1580. Appears in various land transactions and fines as early as 1573. From his father he inherited 17 acres at Westfield, Seaman’s Wood, the house and three acres land after his step-mother’s death, the lease on a farm at Ardley called Porters, an iron-bound chest and the Book of Job. An Aug 1592 Court record refers to his wife Thomasine and a later petition of his son says Pierce became obligated to pay the children of John Tomson £600 on 19 Nov 1691. Last appears as a juror in June 1599.
