Early resident of Charlestown (by 1638) and made a freeman on 6 May 1646. Appointed to “order the affairs” of Lancaster, MA in 1647, which became a town in 1654.
Admitted to the First Church at Charlestown on 10 Sep 1644. (NEHGR 23:281)
The baptisms of two children are recorded at Charlestown First Church in 1641 and 1643. There are likely older and younger children, some of which settled in Concord (home of his widow after her remarriage). Marriages of Deborah and John are found in the 1670s.[
