Notes for John WALDO
Fought in King Phillip’s War, wounded at Quaboag.[ [508]] He moved from Ipswich to Chelmsford with his father and settled in Dunstable by 1682. He was a deputy to the Massachusetts General Court from Dunstable in May 1689. He later moved to Boston and at one time owned a mill in Hingham. On 29 Nov 1697 he bought a grist-mill and land in Windham and was admitted as an inhabitant there on 30 Jan 1697/8. His will was made the day of his death and appoints his wife Rebecca and son John to settle his estate.[ [537]]

Savage's: JOHN, Chelmsford 1675, s. of the first Cornelius, was rep. a short sess. 1689, for Dunstable. He rem. in the Ind. war to Windham, Conn. there d. a. 1700. His will of 14 Apr. in that yr. names w. Rebecca, wh. was d. of Samuel Adams of C. s. John, and refers to other childr. not nam. His inv. was L292. beside the st. at Chelmsford.
