Named in his grandmothers 1469 will as son of Jacobus Padochius and his wife Adela Blabon. On August 4, 1471 (age 9), he was apprenticed to Jan van der Goes of Rotterdam, Holland, goldsmith, where he learnd jewelry and goldsmithing. On August 11, 1508, he inherited Le Cateau in the will of his father. Henri joined the Duke of Brittany's forces in 1508. [576]
