Son of Boyd McCrary and Nancy Ann Merril. Died as part of the typhoid epidemic in Daviess Co in 1835. Called "McCrary fever" locally because 7 or 8 members of the family died of it. Their burials started McCrary cemetery. (http://members.tripod.com/kingscrossfarm/interviews/epidemics.htm)
