LANTZ GENEALOGY B1 Christian Lantz B Christian Lantz, son of Hans and Anna Maria Lantz was born in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, Pa. He was married three times his first wife, being Barbara Kurtz and the other two names not given. Early in the 1790s he moved his family to Mifflin County, Pa., where he was killed by a limb of a tree falling upon him about 1806- 1810. His children, as per old Bible record were: Anna, Christian, Jacob, Veronica, Barbara, John, Samuel, Cath- erine, Magdalena, and Solomon. B2 John Lantz B John Lantz, son of Hans and Anna Maria Lantz was born in Lancaster County, Pa. He married Fanny Beiler and moved across the Susquehanna River and settled in Cumberland County. He had the following children: Jona- than; Elizabeth; Joseph; who lived in Lebanon, Pa.; and Christian. B3 Jacob Lantz B Jacob Lantz, son of Hans and Anna Maria Lantz was born in Lancaster County, Pa. In 1788, he bought the old home place from his father and lived in Caernarvon Townr ship. Upon his father's death, he served as executor (about 1789). In 1797, he sold the farm to Andrew Weller. B4 Samuel Lantz B Samuel Lantz, son of Hans and Anna Maria Lantz was born in Caernarvon Township, Pa. He married Elizabeth King and bought a farm in Heidelberg Township, Berks County, Pa. He had two children, John and Samuel. He died in 1782 or 3 when the children were about 2 and 4 years old. The widow with the two little children went south into Lancaster County, where she married Christian Stoltzfus, by whom she had five children. B6 Henry Lantz B Henry Lantz was born in Lancaster County and appar- ently lived and died there. His children were: Jonathan, Samuel, David, Martha, Fanny, Stephen, and Henry. B11 Anna Lantz Zook B Ann Lantz, daughter of Christian Lantz was born Feb. 1, 1778. She married David Zook. They settled in Cham- 27
