LANTZ GENEALOGY G21 Samuel Lantz G2 Samuel Lantz, son of George and Fannie (Anthony) Lantz was born Dec. 10, 1779, near New Tripoli, Pa. He married Catherine Hildebrand (born 1785-died 1845). He died May 7, 1871. He had a good home in Lincoln County, N. Car., but sold it during the war and invested in Confed- erate bonds and lost everything. He had children: George, married Miss Rocket, moved to Iowa in 1850; Fanny, mar- ried Elias Jarrett, moved to Iowa in 1850; Judith, married Joe Clay and Henry Killian (one child); Eve, unmarried, weak minded; Barbara, married John Hoover, moved to Iowa in 1850; Linnie, married James Albright, moved to Iowa in 1850; Mary, unmarried; and Eli, died young. G23 Jacob Lantz G2 Jacob Lantz, son of George and Fannie (Anthony) Lantz was born near New Tripoli, Pa., Mar. 15, 1783. He married Sabina Hoke, who died when she heard of her son, Jacob's death in a prison camp. He died Mar. 13, 1849.
