Julius E., married Elizabeth Sehritzinger; 1. Marjorie. L54 Caroline Schantz L5 Caroline, daughter of Stephen and Catherine (Ringer) Lentz was born Feb. 1, 1829 and died 1913. In 1852, she married Edward Schantz and in 1869, Paul Ehret. Her descendents are: 1. D. Llewellyn; 2. Edward H., who died in infancy. L57 Dr. Levi Lentz L5 Dr. Levi Lentz, son of Stephen and Catherine (Ringer) Lentz was born Dee. 23, 1837 and died May 27, 1902. He was a practicing physician at Fleetwood, Pa. He married Sarah M. Koch and had one child: 1. Oliver, born Aug. 28, 1872, Reading, Pa. CHRISTIAN LANTZ The Lantzs of Baltimore, Md. Christian Lantz was born in Cassell, Germany in 1786. He married Ann Elizabeth Stumpf (born 1791, died 1858). They had two sons. In Sept. 1826, this family came to America, landing in Baltimore. Christian moved to a farm near Freelands, Md., where he worked as a laborer. In three weeks he died leaving the widow and two small children in a strange country. She afterwards married again. The children: Jacob; and John. Ml Jacob Lantz M Jacob Lantz, son of Christian and Ann Elizabeth (Stumpf) Lantz was born in Germany Jan. 30, 1821. He came to America with his parents in 1826. In 1844, he mar- ried Frederica Emmord. He died Aug. 12, 1882. Their chil- dren were: George Christian; Ann Elizabeth; John George Frederick; Mary Amelia; Jacob, born 1858, died 1880, un- married; John, born 1862, died 1889; unmarried; Charles William. 60
