Many individuals have selflessly shared their researches with the owner of this website. In some small measure, this page is dedicated to those people who have allowed access to the results of their sweat and tears. Any errors in understanding the results of their research are my own.

Their enthusiasm and encouragement is a continuing source of inspiration to me in my efforts to develop this website. Additional thanks are extended to the members and staff of the La Salle County Genealogy Guild for their tireless efforts. Many of the staff assisted me in using the extensive resources that the Guild has on its premises. Staff efforts were always freely given when I cried out my too frequent calls for "Help!".

I also wish to acknowledge the patience and understanding of those in my immediate, as well as extended, family who suffered, and still suffer, the persistent and numerous questions that are posed to them. Though not all share the same interest in our families' histories and genealogies, nevertheless, they all willingly offered what information they had.
