Maurice André (8/30/1782 - 7/1/1854), age 71
Born in Thones Savoie, France, died in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and is
interred in the old Memorial Cemetery.

Jean Jacques “Louis” André (7/31/1816 - 8/10/1877), age 61
Son of Maurice André born in Thones Savoie, France, died in Ste. Genevieve
and is interred in the Valle Spring Cemetery.

Maurice André M.D. (8/30/1834 - 1/23/1914), age 79
Son of Louis André. Born in Thones Savoie, France, died in St. Louis and is
interred in the Valle Spring Cemetery.

Maurice graduated from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis,
1866. My great grandfather Charles Edward André was the son of Dr. André
and Jane Arthur (See African-American Roots).

Dr. André married Clementine Bernays and together they had 3 children:

     1.  Dr. Victor John André (12/8/1869 - 1/9/1928), age 58
Born in Prairie du Rocher, Ill., died in Osceola Ark. and is interred in the
Valle Spring Cemetery.
