James HUTTON

  General Notes:

James was a Type Founder and father of Margaret and Lousisa by Margaret Clark. Although they do not appear to have officially married (Louisa's birth being recorded in the name of Clark and described as illegitimate with Hutton a second given name) Margaret was his common-law wife and used the surname Hutton. James died of typhoid aged around 30 (his exact date of birth is not known).
