John Joseph TRICKETT
Jack was the son of Joseph Trickett (b 1861/2 Sheffield) and Mary (b 1862/3 Sheffield). In 1891 the family, which comprised Joseph and Mary and children John "Jack", Bernard and Andrew were living at 14 Court, 2 House, Hollis Croft, Sheffield. At the time of the 1901 census, Jack and his brother Bernard were living at 10 Court, 1 House, Hollis Croft, Sheffield with their uncle and aunt (John McDonald b 1833, Ireland and Mary McDonald b1833, Ireland). Jack's occupation is given as a Clerk in Cutlery Manufacturer. At the time of the 1939 Register Jack and his wife Ann were living at 52 Bates Street, Sheffield and he is described as Chief Clerk, Meter Account Dept., Sheffield Corporation Electricity Dept. He died aged 77 in Sheffield and is buried at St Michael's Cemetery, Rivelin.
