At the time of the 1939 Register 'Winnie' was living with her father, sister Margaret and her husband William in Rotherham. In the register she is described as a Photographic Dark Room Assistant. Winnie suffered with severe rheumatoid arthritis and died at Chantry View Care Home, Rotherham
