Elizabeth McGINTY HUTTON
Elizabeth was born at 3 Heriot Mount, Edinburgh and was the daughter of William McGinty b.1849 (Canongate, Edinburgh Scotland) and Margaret Hutton b.1857/8 (Canongate, Edinburgh, Scotland). The family moved from Edinburgh to Sheffield and at the time of the 1891 census the family are at Bath Street, Sheffield with Elizabeth being recorded as a school girl and in the 1901census they were at 107 Bromley Street, Sheffield with Elizabeth recorded as a tailoress. Elizabeth married Patrck Walsh and they lived at Ruthin St., Sheffield before moving to 321 Crookesmoor Road, Sheffield a few years before Patrick's death in 1943. 321 Crookesmoor Road had been vacated by Elizabeth's sister, Louisa, who moved a few doors down the road to 315. Elizabeth continued to be a tailoress and died in Sheffield, aged 81, and is buried at St Michael's Cemetery, Rivelin, Sheffield.
