LANGLEES HOUSE, NEAR BIGGAR,
LANARKSHIRE, SCOTLAND
The Borthwicks certainly did not live in this Langlees
House, just a mile or so from the present Biggar village, as it was built in the
1900s. The farmhouse surrounded by all its buildings is on the opposite side of
the valley. It too appears to have been built in the early 1900s. If any reader
is able to help with historical or any other information at all about "Langlees
by Biggar" I would be very pleased to hear from you. Please email me!
