"Miami, Fla - Edward Brown Jr., 60, a graduate of Morse High School, died Oct 18th at Veterans Hospital in Miami, Fla. He was the son of Edward Brown Sr. and Vera Brown Eschtaker [Eschbacher]. He is survived by his mother and one brother, Earl W. Brown of Hollywood, Fla. Also surviving are six children, six grandchildren and one niece. Funeral services were held at Hunter Crematory in Hollywood, Fla. Burial will take place at the family plot in Bath."

Edward Brown, Jr., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Brown, 28 Lemont street, and Miss Virginia May Preney, a daughter of Mrs. Hilda A. Preney, 28 Dummer street, this city, were married Saturday night at 8:30 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Kaler, West Bath, Charles T. Small, Jr., officiated at the single ring ceremony. They were attended by the groom's brother Earl Brown, and Mrs. Kaler.

The groom, who graduated from Morse HIgh School with the class of 1938, operates a Cushman Bakery route in Bath. He is known throughout the state as the outstanding basketball and baseball player developed at the local school in recent years.

Mrs. Brown was a member of the class of 1939, Morse High School."

Idaho Falls, Idaho - Virginia M. Brown, 59, formerly of Bath, Maine died May 14, at the home of her daughter, Arlene L. Ackermann. Mrs. Brown was born in Brunswick, Maine June 19, 1921, the daughter of Louis J. and Hilda Johnson Preney. She attended Morse High School, Bath, Maine. Mrs. Brown had lived in Florida, Connecticut, and Hawaii, before moving to Idaho Falls in October of 1980. She is survived by her mother, Hilda Johnson Preney of Bath; a brother, ARthur J. Preney, and two sisters, Doris Rowland, and Barbara Hughes, all of Bath, Maine. She is also survived by two daughters; two sons; another brother; three other sisters; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. A mass was celebrated May 16 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
