Occupation: planter.⁽¹⁵³⁾ He resided in Haverhill, Essex, MA bef 1695.⁽¹⁵⁴⁾ He resided in Stonington, New London, CT 1695.⁽¹⁵⁵⁾ Abstract from The Ayer Genealogy by Perley, p 11:

John Ayer3, b Newbury 12 May 1657; m Hannah Travers of Boston 13 Sep 1683; was a planter and lived in Haverhill until 1695, removing to Stonington, CT, where he was living in 1722. Children born in Haverhill:
