(Nicholson) Prunier and stepfather, Richard D. Prunier; her father, James O. of Lawrence; her sister, Catherine A. Cappuccio of Lynn; her paternal grandparents, James and Kay (DeMaria) of Lynn; and friend Jack C. Ravagno of Middleton. A funeral service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Pius V. Church, Lynn. Obituary: BRAINTREE -- Mary Catherine (Prunier) Balfour, 61, of Braintree, a homemaker, died Friday at the Elihu White Nursing Home in East Braintree after a long illness. Mrs. Balfour was born in Quincy. She is survived by her husband, Harry Balfour; two sons, Kevin Balfour of Brockton and Paul Balfour of Greenville, S.C.; two daughters, Joan Blanchard of Weymouth and Susan Armstrong of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Joseph Prunier of Holbrook, and three sisters, Janice Prunier, Ann Prunier, and Kathleen Prunier. She was the mother of the late Denise Balfour. Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St.

Obituary: BRAINTREE -- A funeral Mass for Mary Catherine (Prunier) Balfour, 61, of Braintree, a home health aide for South Shore Visiting Nurse Association, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of St. Thomas More by the Rev. William Williams, former co-pastor. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Balfour, who formerly worked at East Junior High School, died Friday in the Elihu White Nursing Home in East Braintree after a long illness. She also was a bookkeeper for the former Quincy Trust Co. in Quincy Square. She was a communicant at the Church of St. Thomas More and active in the religious activities. Mrs. Balfour was born, raised and educated in Quincy and took bookkeeping and accounting courses in Boston. She is survived by her husband, Harrison W. "Harry" Balfour; two sons, Kevin R. Balfour of Brockton and Paul H. Balfour of Greenville, S.C.; two daughters, Joan E. Blanchard of Weymouth and Susan M. Armstrong of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Joseph Prunier of Holbrook; and three sisters, Janice Gustafson and Ann Faulkner, both of Tucson, Ariz., and Kathleen Thomas of Quincy; and nine grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Denise Balfour. Visiting is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery. He was born in Pittsfield, son of Arthur L. and Margaret (Maurier) Lusignan, and lived many years in Worcester and many years in Webster before moving to Maryland about 1987. He graduated from Pittsfield High School, and attended Lowell Textile Institute, later Lowell Institute of Technology, and Boston University. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Lusignan was a joint owner and treasurer of the former Lusignan Textile Inc. in Worcester and Linwood, where he worked for 50 years. He retired about 1987. He was a longtime member of St. Louis Church in Webster, the Harmony Club, the Friends of Assumption College, both in Worcester, and Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton. Obituary: AUBURN - Russell E. Turcotte Sr., 74, of 8 Idlewood Drive, died yesterday in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a short illness. His wife, Ellen M. (McGrail) Turcotte, died last year. He leaves a son, Russell E. Turcotte Jr. of Worcester; two brothers, Raymond Turcotte of Auburn and Francis Turcotte of Grafton; four sisters, Anita Garland of Dennisport, Irene Collins and Judy Nadero, both of Worcester, and Claire LaPorte of Leicester; and three grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of Julian and Sadie (Prunier) Turcotte, and lived here most of his life. Mr. Turcotte graduated from the former Worcester Boys Trade School. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European theater. Mr. Turcotte was a brick mason for more than 40 years for several Worcester-area contractors. After retirement, he was a custodian at Auburn High School for five years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and a 50-year-member of the Bricklayers Local No. 6 in Worcester. He was a founding father of the Auburn National Little League and also served as a director and coach for the Amateur Hockey Association here. Obituary: MARLBORO - Leona (Blais) St. Laurent, 88, died yesterday in Westridge Health Care Center. Her husband, Eugene St. Laurent, died in July. She leaves two sons, Frederick St. Laurent of Brooklyn, Maine, and Francis St. Laurent of Lebanon, N.H.; a daughter, Lorraine Evers of Marlboro; a sister, Olivette Colacchio of Nashua, N.H.; two stepsisters, Venita Simoneau and Leona Horner, both of Marlboro; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A stepbrother, George Parizeau, died in 1995. She was born in Nashua, daughter of Adelard and Grace (Prunier) Blais Parizeau, and lived here many years. She worked at Diamond Shoe Co., retiring in 1973. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Our Lady of the Assumption Guild and Marlboro Senior Citizens. A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Church, Broad Street. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Obituary: OXFORD - Ozias P. "Bunny" LeBlanc, 74, of June Street, a pharmaceutical salesman for 45 years, was stricken ill and died yesterday at home. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Lucille (Prunier) LeBlanc; two brothers, Theodore "Ted" LeBlanc of Oxford and Norman J. LeBlanc of North Oxford; a sister, Theresa A. Stone of North Oxford; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Ozias R. and Albina (LaMountain) LeBlanc, and lived there 38 years. He lived many years in Oxford. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1942 and Holy Cross College, Worcester, in 1947. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a pharmacist third class. Mr. LeBlanc was a pharmaceutical salesman in the Worcester area for A.H. Robins Co. for 45 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Roch's Church and the Germania Social Club in Worcester. He was a former member of Oxford Council, Knights of Columbus. The funeral will be held tomorrow from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Roch's Church, 334 Main St. Burial will be in St. Roch's Cemetery. Obituary: Eleanor A. "Elly" Nobile of Lynn, a Boston Towing and Transportation employee, died Tuesday at Brigham and Women's Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 25. Born in Lynn, she was a graduate of Connery School and Breed Junior High School. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1988. Mrs. Nobile was employed at Boston Towing and Transportation Co. in East Boston for the past year. Obituary: DOROTHY LAURA LEPINE, 71, a homemaker, died Aug. 24, 1994, at a hospital in Denver. Wheeler of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Celeste Putt of Las Vegas, Allison Godwin of Newport News, Va., and Ellen D. Cesarone and Laurel M. Miller, both of Colorado Springs; a sister, Lucille "Pat" Whitehurst of Chesapeake, Va.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Lepine had lived in the area for 30 years and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
