Job GARVEY is said to have been born 1760 in Scotland. Died c1827 in Owen Co KY. He married Elizabeth CLAXTON in 1781 in VA. They were in KY by 1795. A son, John Garvey, was born 1782, Culpepper Co., VA.
Eleanor SIMS, b 1812 KY, d 1871 KY, married Edwin Frederick GODDARD in 1836. Lived in Scott and Bourbon Co., KY. Their daughter, Elizabeth Sims Goddard married Samuel Thomas GARVEY.
