| Notes | Lived in Dull, PER; at his marriage in 1751 he was in Farleyer (my best
interpretation of the register entry), and afterwards in Balnabruch. No
information has yet been found about his birth or ancestry, but he may be the
Hugh Kennedy who married Margaret ROBERTSON in Dull on 11 Dec 1739. One of the
witnesses at that marriage was also called Hugh Kennedy - his father? DNA testing suggests a connection to another Kennedy family in Dull, but the exact link has not been found yet. That family was in the Foss area of Dull; Margaret Robertson was living in Foss in 1739, but I have found no evidence yet that Hugh ever lived there. See link following for more on this. |
