Dough:
    Ingredients:
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 1/2 cup milk
    • 3 tbsp water
    • 1/2 cup sifted flour
    • 1/4 tsp salt

    Preparation:

      Mix:
    1. Beat eggs until light.
    2. Add milk and water and beat again a few times.
    3. Add remaining ingredients and scrape sides. (I use a wide spatula)

      Cooking:

    4. Heat small frying pan. (about 6" in diameter)
    5. Add a tablespoon of butter and roll around covering the entire pan.
    6. Add about 3 tablespoons of batter rolling it around to make it even.
    7. Cook the bottom side only over moderate heat.
    8. Remove from pan and place on large platter until ready to fill.
    9. Repeat until mix is all gone.

Cottage Cheese Filling:

    Ingredients:
    • 2 cups cottage cheese (mashed)
    • 2 egg yokes
    • 2 tbsp rich cream (18%)
    • pinch of salt
    • drop of vanilla
    • 2 tbsp sugar

    Preparation:

    1. Add eggs to cheese.
    2. Add sugar.
    3. Add remaining ingredients.
    4. Put two heaping tablespoons of filling into each nalesnik.
    5. Roll up in jelly roll sytle. (ends can be tucked in if desired)
    6. Place into a buttered pan (9" x 13") and cover with foil.
    7. Put pan in preheated over set at 250 degrees F for about 30 minutes.
Serve with sour cream.
