    Lot of detail about the Swintons of north Cheshire, 1540 in Nether
    Knutsford in www.swintonsociety.org. Then Middlewich, Lower Peover, Gt Budworth early 17th century.
    Mainly farmers! Thomas Swinton, b 1690 in Gt Budworth, married Margaret
    Jennon and had four children including Peter b 1724 who married Jenny
    Whittle and had 11 children including Thomas b 1754 who married Anne Bennet
    and had 11 children including John b 1795 who married Anne Whitlow and had 8
    children including Thomas Walmsley b. 1828 who married Margaret Higginson
    and had 8 children including John b. 1858 who married Emily Murray and had 7
    children including Reginald b 1888 who married Mary Owen and had 2 children
    including John b 1909 who married Catherine Dolan and had 3 children
