Nabby Avery
NABBY AVERY - Eighth Generation
Nabby Avery, daughter of Amos and Abigail Avery, was born Dec.
18, 1788. Nabby was the mother of Carlos, the first Avery
to come to Pittsfield, Ohio. Nabby was engaged to a French soldier
who was killed in an accident before the wedding. He was the
father of her son Carlos. In 1851 Nabby came to Pittsfield, Ohio
with her brother Ephraim and his family.
Nabby died July 12, 1875 and is buried in South Cemetery, Pittsfield.
